Speak it loud and speak it, proud, brother. If folks can talk about sitting outside their favorite coffee, shops or ice cream parlors are playing with plushy’s or how much they are bullied and misunderstood, we can talk about all the fucking shit we want to on here. We are all adults here, brother franchise. So, everybody, your ass just got franchised. Lol.

A lot of blind people on this app really just don’t understand how social media works. For instance, The shit that has been seen as bullying on here wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar of literally any other social media. To be fair, I think part of it is due to the fact that a lot of the people that are making such complaints have some cognitive impairment shit going on.

I went to a school for the blind from third grade to graduation and still turned out pretty normal, at least as far as this stuff goes. I didn't live there during the week the way a lot of students did, so I still had plenty of interaction with people outside of that environment, and I took an AP English class at the public high school and did some college classes before I graduated. That probably helped. I think it's less about the schools themselves and more about the multiple disabilities that can come along with blindness and the lack of socialization a lot of those kids get from their families. I know people who lived there all week and only went home on the weekends and holidays and still ended up just fine.

Yeah, I think the big word is socialization.

You are correct Daisy. I don’t want to blame it on the exact individual or exactly the schools, it’s up to the family and the people raising the child with a disability to introduce them to normalize social energy and I know some that have that regardless of what kind of school they went to their whole life. I had a homegirl that was going to the same adaptive independence training school. I went to and they were holding us all accountable to start traveling home on our own during the weekends after receiving orientation and mobility training, and this girl‘s parents were so scared and against the instructions of the training that they always wanted either me and another guy homie they trusted to assist her to the train station. When it came to a lot of challenges, she had to be extra pushed because of her sheltering situation and much love to her, but it was very irritating.

I think no matter what if a person has the mindset of one to be a sheltered crybaby, nothing that any school, good up, raising, or introduction to normal life will help out. I’ve said this plenty of times, no matter what people do, if a person is going to be a fuck up in their life, you will not be able to stop them from being a fuck up. The same thing about some of these blind people in the community, if they want to be sheltered, entitled, little pricks, there’s no amount of pulling and tugging will make them grow.

And to be completely honest, it took me years to not stand to fucking blind people. I’ve had so many bad experiences, dealing with blind people while I was excited, I understand why I decided community to look at blind people as being slightly mentally fucked up. I’ve seen that myself, and being in the community now, I see the reason why we had a Tennessee of thinking that. A lot of of the blind people that are really fucked up in the head, are extremely visible. They do their self injustice by making their themselves know, and all that fucked up intricacies. And this is not blind people that’s in this category, it’s a lot of people that are considered as disabled have the same mental fucked up mindset. So that’s why a lot of sided people have a Tennessee of having pity for disabled people, because just because you have a physical impairment, that doesn’t mean you have to make yourself look like a total fucking prick.
