Yeah, I was just about to say you can't view your contacts right now. Earlier today I could with no issue so I don't know what the hell they are doing. This has been going on for at least 2 or 3 hours for me.. Even if you open the regular facebook website you still can't see any contacts but you can see messenger convos. Use edge for that if you have to, don't use firefox, it wont look right.

Yeah, I do use Microsoft edge. For Facebook. And I don’t know what happened either myself. I was able to navigate everything just fine yesterday morning. And then in the afternoon I went to reply to somebody. And yeah that’s when I discovered. That you cannot view your online contacts. And you cannot navigate your conversations by heading. When you’re reading through a conversation.

Yeah, I checked it too. It’s still broken. Oh and another thing I discovered. When you’re listening to voice messages. Your screen reader will announce the progress bar. Well, the voice messages is playing. So that’s another thing I got to discover today, that’s broken.

No. Facebook is not getting rid of the Messenger app. As of right now. The Facebook for Web. Is screwed up on the Messenger part of Facebook for Web. Because Meta. Is changing things. But they’re changing things in a bad way for us. Meaning they’re breaking Accessibility.
