Can anyone just call themselves a minister? 
Jim,man of GOD, friend to GOD
Well, not everybody’s supposed to call themselves a minister, unless of course, they really do have the knowledge of the word of God then they can be a minister. Also, you don’t have to be just teaching or preaching the word to be a minister. Serving one another, counseling, one another, showing love to one another, these are always of ministering. But those who have the knowledge of the word of God and pass it on to others administers of peace and of the word of God, children of God.

I’ve learned this, if God calls you to be in an office when it comes to the fivefold ministry, it’s important that you focus on the calling that God has called you to do. Whether it’s an evangelist, a teacher and apostle a prophet or a pastor. God has called me to be a pastor, and that’s my office within the fivefold ministry.
