Ramblio

Desktop app

Ramblio for Windows and Mac

Ramblio desktop brings a native experience to Windows and Mac.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

Download for Windows

Installing on Windows

  1. Open ramblio-desktop-setup.exe once it has downloaded. If your browser says it isn't commonly downloaded, choose to keep it.
  2. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway. The installer isn't signed yet, so Windows doesn't know that it is safe.
  3. Follow the installer; you can choose to add a desktop icon and/or change the installation path.
  4. Ramblio starts when the installer finishes. After that, it's on the Start menu and/or the desktop.

Mac

macOS 12.3 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.

Download for Mac

Installing on a Mac

  1. Open Ramblio.dmg once it has downloaded. A window opens with Ramblio and your Applications folder.
  2. Drag Ramblio onto Applications. With VoiceOver, you can instead select Ramblio, press Cmd+C, go to Applications with Cmd+Shift+A, and press Cmd+V.
  3. Open Ramblio from Applications. The first time, macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet: choose Open.
  4. The first time you record or join a hangout, allow Ramblio to use the microphone.

Keep Ramblio in Applications, so it can update itself.

Updates

Ramblio checks for a new version on its own and offers to install it. To check now, go to Help>Check for updates.

Getting help

In Ramblio, press F1, or go to Help>Ramblio help. On a Mac you can also press Cmd+?. The help opens in your web browser and covers every part of the app, with all its keys.

To tell us about a problem, go to Help>Send a report. Choose what it's about and say what happened; the recent log goes with it so we can help diagnose the issue.
