I have never done this, but it sounds like you interrupt the process, I will try it again when you got time to let the phone sit for three hours after doing it … usually when you’re switching voices if the voice doesn’t come on automatically, you should turn VoiceOver off and then turn it back on

Yeah I would just try it again. Maybe it just glitched out or something.
