Thank you so much for the update, I really appreciate you putting in the time. I love all the new features, but I can't seem to record at all now, whether it be a new ramble, private message or a comment. I've tried clearing the storage and logging back in at least three times now.

"Pray Josh, it was only a temporary moment in time that your developer account was on hold or suspended, I daresay people will understand that the need for a short delay, was indeed warranted for a short duration. None the less it pleases myself and Shaun, that you are now at last able to grace us with android updates and the like, once again. Pray Keep up the great work. Samantha, Michelle, Alexandria, Hamilton."

That’s good that you’ve been able to get your Developer thing back, I will get round to testing the update on my backup device, the trustee Motorola G24 lol

I get the failed to start recording error. I'll try clearing the storage and cache again now. Also, if I completely uninstall it would I be able to download it again?

Hi, yeah, you should be able to download it from the play store, not sure if you have a previous downloaded apps section or you might have to use the link from the email again

It's still the same. That's bizarre!

Did it ask for microphone permission?

It comes up with a message when you first start the app to allow rambleo to record audio and I always click on when using the app. Also, I can see that the microphone permissions are enabled in the app info. It's very odd

Does it give the same message for hold-to-record and lock-to-record?

Yes, it does, but I'm not even sure double tap and hold is working properly anyway because it doesn't make the long press sound when you do that, and when you lift your finger, it's still makes the usual tap sound it makes as if you've double tapped on the button instead. Hope that made sense!

Annoyingly, I can't reproduce anything. I've deleted the app and installed it from the play store and I can still record. I wonder if its something with new Android versions. I'll keep playing around and try and come up with something.

I've got an old pixel 6A lying around so I'm going to give it a try on that
