In 1982 I woke with a start at a friend’s house due to feeling something was looking at me that was not human ! The stare had a hollow vacuum quality to it, like you could drown being sucked in. I told myself not to panic, that there had to be a logical explanation. That morning when the friend came down she said that all seven of her cats were sitting together staring at me.
