I couldn't make out enough of what was said to understand exactly what happened. I can tell he was guiding you across streets or at least across curbs of some kind, and that you were also using a cane. I'm guessing he gave you "help" that you did not really want or ask for? That does happen here in the US. On one occasion, I got towed across the wrong street by a "helpful" University student. In any case, sorry I couldn't make out more of the words. I'll blame my slowly failing right ear if I need a scapegoat. :-)
