I wish I saw more young people communicating this the way you have. With all the world up in arms about protecting kids from the internet? There isn't enough talk about having teens be honest in disclosing their ages so that older people who should know better can make an informed choice about interacting with the younger person and the extent of those interactions. I think too often young people in your age bracket, either don't feel confident enough to tell older folks that they are talking to them inappropriately. Or they feel flattered by the attention. But in all cases, if you are old enough to be on the internet, your parents and you the minor, should be old enough to recognize common inappropriate tactics of shady adults online. If you the parent, or you the teen/minor don't feel like you know how to spot the signs, or don't want to or feel brave enough to clearly disclose your age? Then you shouldn't be on the internet.
