I would like to know why the girl said that those who were blind would be taking anything from those who are deaf with access to certain technologies., What did she mean? What was the rationale? Her interesting surely would be interesting. Her answer I mean, would surely be interesting.

I agree, that makes no sense at all. Take movies and television for example; there's audio description for the blind and closed captions for the deaf. I don't get her mindset.
