    This is one of the reasons I'm glad I never got JAWS. I even told the people who did my assessment for the state to see what I'd be getting that I didn't want it and she wasn't sure how to take it. I get that they are a business, but charging people $105 a year for a speech synthesizer or the ability to increase the size of some text and icons is too much.

    The problem is that we as consumers are not assistive tech companies' markets. Their target market is agencies and training centers.
