The glasses do not flash, but they have a LED light that is always on and sighted people can see that light and also can tell that the glasses have a camera lens

Yes, there are some troubling implications of this AI technology and it’s one of the reasons why I’m somewhat opposed to meta glasses and wouldn’t use them myself, in the UK taking pictures of people in public is perfectly fine legally, but just because you can do something that doesn’t mean you should and I know I would feel uncomfortable if someone wanted to take a photo of me and then upload that to the Internet, even if there was a very small chance of it being seen by others.
