Got a question. Why does a Finish metal band appear on a Celtic music album?

Yeah, I don’t know why that would happen. Poor choice on the artist part I guess or maybe something just happened with the album. Sometimes you see albums like that… Really weird like an album I had once that just ended quick for some weird reason but everyone has their choices. Actually, I’m just now starting to sort of get into Celtic music. I went to a cultural event in February and I really really loved it. I wonder if Great Big Sea is Celtic. Not very familiar with any artists a lot though. I like their stuff it’s OK but they did this song called donkey riding. I had only heard it in a child’s tape or something, but I don’t like their version. I get it why it’s like that but it’s too rough for me. Sounds like you were quite taken aback by the metal stuff though. Hope the rest of your day goes well.

I mean I think the obvious answer is, Nightwish has always existed sort of adjacent to that Celtic metal place. They have a number of Celtic songs, they use a lot of Celtic instrumentation and they play with and tour a lot of Celtic bands

Ok looking at the album, there I like most of the tracks on it but a lot of them are also baffling choices. I also think it's hilarious that the amazon product description is a bad review of the album.

Honestly most of the tracks. Sort of feels like they just grabbed a few contemporary celtic acts and then a bunch of either celtic sounding songs from movies or songs from vaguely celtic movies and just threw them on a CD set they could sell on TV. That was very common for compilation's in the 90s and early 2000s, before things like streaming changed how people accessed music.
