Communication and consent are two of the most important aspects of the leather lifestyle. I have been to a lot of dungeon parties, and everybody who is having a scene have their safety measures in place. I think your post was well thought out and I agree with it all.  negotiation is always the first thing in any scene, and should be in vanilla situations as well. Good points.

very good thoughts here. I've heard of safewords being implemented even in a general relationship context, so its certainly something that could be useful. And yeah kin has definitely facilitated better communication in all areas of life in my experience. Most people don't learn to verbalise their emotions and thoughts so freely, particularly guys. But in those circules you really, relaly need ot learn to do so
