Yep, they grilled me on it

That’s OK. I actually think I’m neurodivergent, but no one else is convinced.

You are definitely not alone. Even to this day, even at 40 years old, I still reverse ENI. It's dyslexia, so it happens. It's part of my neurodivergent. I have ADHD, dyslexia, epilepsy, along with total blindness. That's why sometimes my brain jumps from one topic to the next without meaning to. Because I'm neurodivergent. Can't be helped.
Meg
Wow, feeling so not alone right now
Flute player 86
Yep. Plus, RNW are confusing in braille too. I don't know why everything has to be reversed every once in a while. I used to reverse D, F, J, and H all the time.
Meg
Oh goodness, E and I were such culprit for me as a kid in braille. Also, ING and the + and the u sign, I used to read sings as sus. Kind of funny today. Anyway, thanks for understanding you guys I think it’s a great project and I don’t wanna rain on anyone’s parade. I guess I’m just used to taking this advice seriously because people were very serious with me, but I hope we all have fun.

There were times, when my mom would find audio tapes of me when I was younger, especially when I would read, and when I would read, I would read rather slowly, especially with braille, because I used to reverse D, F, J, H, E, and I. Even to this day, I still reverse E and I in braille. Don't know why. I have a little touch of dyslexia, but it hasn't slowed me down. Anyway, sometimes, it makes me cringe to listen to my younger self.

Wow. That's a lot of Audio. Sometimes, the cassettes that I would record on would be really old. I have a couple of cassettes that my grandmother Thelma had custom made for me, and I want to get those converted. However, I don't know how I would do it here at home. My mom knows someone that does it, and I might ask her to get those converted to Digital for me. It's really cool how you were able to give advice to your younger self. If I could give advice to my younger self, I don't really know what I would tell her.
Casey
Well, Artemis, it's not hard. You just need a way to connect your cassette player via Line and Jack to a digital recorder, or your computer, and record the audio. I have a digital recorder that has this capability, and back in the day I had tons of time on my hands. I've probably converted easily over 500 tapes to digital.
Artemis
That's super interesting! I know that I have cassettes of myself speaking but I have no idea how you go about converting them digitally.

Casey
Just a fun little project I made. I have tons and tons of audio of my younger self. From old tapes they were digitally converted.
Meg
That’s cool. I’m glad you were able to give advice to your younger self and get some humour out of it. I’m not sure if I would enjoy doing that because I was kind of always told to give advice and that that advice means you should put them into their place. And we are so hard on ourselves so often. Right now I am trying to just treat myself like my own best friend and tell her, hey, you’re going to make it you’re going to be OK in life. She needs a lot of comfort and care, something I feel this world Has sort of been lacking quite a bit.
