Well, that's your personal choice. I would not advise you to give up because of one person. My last partner also tried to change me in many ways, saying that i am too dramatic and other stuff. She also wanted to have children in future, and i don't really feel like having them, so it was a problem as well. You will meet many people who will try to change you, or will pour into your ears many sweet lies about eternal love, but their eternity may end in a month or two. But I respect your choice, and if you're perfectly happy without someone who loves you, and if you don't want to play the relationship lottery, that's your personal choice. I'm just guessing that this person was trying to force you into sexual activities that you weren't interested in. That's why I'm just saying that there are more asexual people in the world then you think, and you will definitely find a person for whom it is not important, if you risk it. The main thing is to be happy.

lol, there have been times I wish I made that decision as well. at the end of the day, it's definitely not what fairytales and 90's country love songs make it out to be.

Sorry you had to endure someone trying to change you. Often this ugly quality doesn’t rear its ugly head until you’re already involved. The exploitative nature of dating following that can’t have helped.

I’m sure whether to date or not is a very valid option. I know you’ll make the right choice. I thought about marriage and kids and I deliberately remember being in my late 20s sitting down going maybe I’m not going to have kids. And I haven’t yet. Non 24 here gotta love it
