Sure and that’s why there has to be a balance. I’m going through something right now myself where I really could use cited assistance. But if I can’t do it myself somehow I feel I failed because that’s also how I was raised but sometimes we just need the help my friend.

I don’t really ask a lot of people for accommodations just because there’s so much technology out there for the most part that if I can do it myself, I choose to. Because there are only a few things that blind people need help with no matter what so the things I can do myself I opt too, but that’s honestly how I was raised. My mom taught me to be self-sufficient and now sometimes I’m too self-sufficient even on the emotional side to the point that I don’t always know how to let people in so it’s a battle sometimes lol

It couldn’t upload the recording, but I do agree with you somewhat although I feel mixed on your opinion so I was interested in it because I think if we advocate too much for descriptions, we could come across as entitled but otherwise we’re missing out so I’m glad you like the urban videos. I really don’t feel like rewriting all of this, but that sums it up.
