So, are you saying that the issues with spectrum and Comcast are now resolved? Just wanted to get that clarified, since it sounded like you were saying they were, but it really was pretty ambiguous.

I've been told it has, but could take up to 48 hours and I'm unable to check personally.

Keep up the great work! Do you plan on integrating the website features into the app as well?

For those of you leaving audios, you should remember that he doesn't have time to listen to all of them. And I hope people can't download all audios because I think that would not be right. I mean if people could download other people's audios. That kind of sounds like a breach of some sort. Anyway I am thankful for this app and all that you are able to do for it. I look forward to the day when we can actually reply to people's comments rather than not knowing who it was that was being replied to on a thread. I think you all know what I'm saying. Also for some of us that do have some vision there is this white box in the middle or somewhere within the comment section and we're not sure why it's there. And when it is time to stop recording there's no way to figure out where the stop button is especially if you don't have Talkback on or some kind of speech thing on. But other than that I think rambling is amazing and I do appreciate all the work that goes into making things work for everyone.

Hey Josh, I’m curious so does that mean that this app will no longer be available as a standalone mobile app I find it easier to use apps more than browsers but you were saying this app is going to be moving to the website soon so does this mean that we’re not going to have a standalone mobile app? I think you should maybe keep this app open as well

But thank you so much mate for the update and I’m really really glad that you made this app because it’s really helpful for people like us

When the app moves over to the new website, will android users be on the full public release? And I agree about keeping the mobile app around. I prefer the mobile version over the web version.

Hello there, TERRANCE SADLER! If we were to download the audio files, then we would get illegitimate copies of rambles and it would go against the privacy of many, especially because what you can do with voice these days. Maybe add a check box where they can download the ramble? As a creator that is doing playthroughs I agree that people may download my rambles.

About the mobile version, I have some suggestions. I know you're seeing these, so I'll post them:

    1. Support full media transport controls (for Jieshuo physical keyboard users and headsets): The Android operating system allows moving to the next and previous track, playing and pausing the media, this is already supported, and fast forward and rewind. For some content all of these transport features maybe available. If the app is made in Kotlin, I can cook some code for it right away.

    2. Allow playing audio when switching apps and when locking the screen.

    3. By using the "Full screen Alerts" feature, you can show the player or the record ramble feature right on top of the lock screen. This requires overlay permissions too, but it's useful.

I love this app. I would love it to still be a standalone app because I love it. I love to upload my creations and my Rambo’s and I’ve got to make some lovely new friends on here as well.

Thanks for the updates on the browser version, Josh. I do prefer it to the app. I like that the comments are now descending, from oldest to most recent at the bottom. I'm having issues recording and uploading comments, but I will keep testing it out. Also, it would be great if I could use the search function to search for and find all my comments that way I can interact with them better. As of now I am only able to find the rambles I created.

When you release the new version for the platform, will you be adding any new features to Hangouts to make it more enjoyable and encourage people to join and interact with it more?

New beta update This version will now use the new backend. Currently, there should be no user-facing differences; but hopefully things may load a little faster. Also fixed a number of bugs around lists (comments, messages, ETC). Finally, opening a conversation should automaticly place you at the most recent message. Please report any regressions.
