Hey! Deffinitly we can talk about this. So, there's an organization called National Federation Of The Blind! NFB main office is out of Baltimore Maryland. I deffinitly recommend joining the NFB. However, some people are not fans of the nFB. So personally, please know Hadlee Institute For The Blind has some great things. However if your looking for JAWS Training, please checkout the tutorials on the training page of Freedom Scientific via going on the website link. https://www.traning@vispero.com.

Please leave a comment and let me know if this is helpful. And sorry to hear that your not gitting the help you need. However personally I'm gonna highly recommend that you file a complaint to the supervisor of your Counselor. If the person over the counselor doesn't take action please take it to the deputy director of the agency you currently have a case open with. And again, if no action was taken please further take it to the next levels. Please know you have people that can give you contact info for other places. And if you need my personal intake on the training centers please let me know and you can feel free to message me on here. To the person that goes via BlindBeauty, my name is Savannah Watring but I go via Spiritual Angel. GoodLuck, stay blessed, and please let us know how your doing if you begin to git help. Like one other person said your not alone a lot of things have happened due to Government shutdown.

Hey guys! @BlindBeauty, Well this sounds very interesting. My friend Carol Weeks completed a lot of stuff through Hadlee Institute For The Blind. However, if you grewup around National federation Of The Blind, your local NFB Chapter President and members of your chapter may recommend training centers that are within the NFB! Example would be Colerado Center For The Blind And Louisiana Center For The Blind. Acronyms of these centers are CCB and LCB. LCB, is located out of Ruston Louisiana and CCB is located out of Lidilton Colerado.

Working with VR actually would be great. Have you thought about being a VRC? Known as a VR Counselor? If so I think it would be great. I think the VR teaching feild is great! Freedom Scientific is a great resource. The training website is, https://www.training@vispero.com.

Hey @Candas Stephan. Wow! Very interesting as to Hadlee Institute being virtual for other things. Actually I have a friend that went to Florida School For The Deaf And Blind and her name is Jazmin Polite. She's going to school to be a TVi. TVI is known as Teacher Of The Visually Impaired. I think she completed some UEB courses through Hadlee Institute! UEB, is known respectively as Unified English Braille! I at one point in time wanted to be a TVi but was told that it would be absolutely impossible for me to do this! The person that told me that was an O And M instructor named Sarah Weeks! She wasn't a very nice instructor. She was one of those O And M teachers that basicly was nosy.

I think from what I remember there's a total of 26 or 20 lessons for the UEB course through Hadlee Institute For The Blind.
