Full disclosure, no one was blocked, I simply removed the thread because it wasn't productive and was becoming the source of a childish flame war. All I did was make a request, din't act like a jerk as people say I did. It's no different than some people on here who request people put headphones in before recording in order to cud down on VoiceOver chatter. As far as who gets to tell anyone anything, people get to have an opinion on the way people behave and if they disagree with something, they have a right to express it. Doing so isn't policing anyone, it's just pointing out that the user experience could be improved for everyone if common courtesy was observed. I agree that perhaps the title of the thread was a little pushy and I regret the framing, but largely stand by the position. It's going to be easier to find posts if they are better categorized, however Josh is the one who gets to make the final decision as to whether or not he makes it a rule or not. He did mention it in the beginning, but hasn't since, so I'm not sure where he currently stands on it. That's all.
