If by “worst crime cities” you mean highest violent-crime rate, the cleanest comparison is to use the FBI’s latest complete 2024 data and limit it to cities with 100,000+ residents. Alexandria, Louisiana, for example, had about 2,714 violent crimes per 100,000, actually higher than Memphis, while Saginaw, Michigan and Monroe, Louisiana also enter the top 10. That is pretty cool, but you can also ask HERMES, a new class of AI models that also have tool access, browser access, that can actually look up that for you and tell you. So ChatGPT is not the only option.
