Right now, I'm not having a problem of people invading my space. But I do have a problem still with the telephone and calling some of my friends. I have one friend that I call and she's always on the computer doing stuff. She's not blind. As she's really concentrating on what she's doing. She's looking up genealogy stuff for her family so you really need to concentrate to figure out who's who and what's what. I don't know. I kind of think this is a little bit rude because how can you really concentrate on looking up history and listening to me at the same time. I get when people multitask. I mean, I think it's OK to maybe wash the dishes or even though that could be a little noisy but it doesn't have to be too noisy, or fold your laundry or something like that while you're on the phone with somebody but doing research, I don't know. I have another friend who I called sometimes, she's not blind either, and once I was on a call With her she got very quiet. I asked her what was she doing. And she said she was playing a game. Rude. Oh, and another time I was on the phone with her she got quiet and I asked her what she was doing and she said she was examining her financial portfolio because she was preparing for retirement!!! Like you can really concentrate on numbers while you're on the phone with somebody??? I have another friend who is blind and she lives with someone. And the person that she lives with totally disrespect her space while she's on the phone but then again she allows it. He constantly wants to engage with her while she's on the phone. One time he asked her to watch a video on his phone. A short video or something. She did it. While she's on the phone with me. When I found out what was happening, I just hung up. I told her I thought that was rude and I just hung up. It's not that you can't watch a video. But say hey, hold on a minute pumpkin pie, I have to do something real quick it'll take me like a minute hold on. But you just don't do it while I'm in the middle of talking. That's rude.
