Ok but what about transportation? Is a blind person gonna be able to drive places by themselves?

First off, we're not serving anyone. I don't see how we're serving them, considering we're the ones that get asked if we need help and have them accommodate for us. Secondly, you say we're not supposed to be "cowtowing" to them for needed help and advantages, essentially. I ask you, what other option is there? We live in a sighted world. All the computers you use, the phone you're using right now, and the screen readers, were built by sighted people. A lot of what is being done for us right now is being built and coded by sighted people. Again, you bring up the point of being asked for help, even if we don't need it, and you say we might not look as if we need help in the first place, but again, that's just people trying to be nice and helpful. We might actually look like that to them, for how would we know that if we're blind? Let's face it, this world relies on sight, and we have to understand that. It's not about pride, which still seems an unhelpful concept considering disability, but it's just the way it is and the way it's always been.

At least your points this time were much better reason. Thank you. Appreciated. Even though I disagree still with some of them and I don’t have a whole lot of time to dig deep into them right now.

I can understand some points you make about microaggression. People pulling you around isn't ok, and you should definitely speak out about that. But people asking you if you need help isn't an aggression, it's them trying to see if you need help. If you wanna act entitled and complain about people trying to be nice to you, you can. Also stop trying to make a culture out of our condition. It's already hard enough to find accommidations for us without people trying to act entitled because they feel pride about being disabled. You should definitely not let your disability stop you, but don't bring pride into it.

Lmao didn't know having a disability meant being part of a culture. Think you're just chronically online ma'am. I would recommend going outside and interacting with the world with the other senses you do have.
