If the ultimate goal of the relationship is to get married and have children, then a serious conversation needs to take place regarding how the children will be raised.

I'm not a religious person, but other people's belief or disbelief does not affect me in any way. So, I could be with someone who is religious, so long as that person is not trying to convert me to her religion. And, I would not try to force my lack of belief upon her. With all that said, it really depends on how important your partner's religious affiliation or non-affiliation is to you.
