On multi-voice audio books: Way back in the 70s and maybe earlier, the Library of Congress Talking Book Program's version of Romeo and Juliet was actually acted out, complete with sound effects, real swords, etc. I thought that was cool. This is back far enough that you had to play these from records that ran at 16 RPM, which later became 8 RPM.

Ah lol, so writing style not reading style. Sorry about that and thanks for the clarification. The hardest style I've found is what we at least used to call "stream of consciousness"; not sure if we use the same name by now. James Joyce's A Portrait of the Artist As a Young Man was a famous example of that one. It of course became an extremely popular movie format as well.
