Don't learn this habit 🤣, but my brother tends to go out at night, and when he comes back home, both of us end up with a really early morning breakfast: at 2:00 AM! 🤣🤣
Angie
Hmm, That’s interesting. Sometimes I’ll have a late night snack. Nothing too crazy. I try not to eat full on meals super late at night. But yeah that’s pretty much it.

Also, how are your eating habits when you do stay up late in the night? Do you eat anything at all or go without anything? What would you have if you do eat something? I know some people go by coffee or chips or pop corn, but I don’t know anything other than that. For me I usually don’t have any snacks around the house so it’s hard. I’ll maybe have a banana or cookies if I have them available, but mostly I go with a lot of water and empty stomach and I don’t like that. Also, there’s this cultural thing here where we’re told to not eat anything in the night. They say that ghosts eat in the night and that we are considered one if we do so. 🙂 but anyway, aside from that, they also say that there are some scientific reasons as to why we shouldn’t have anything in the night. As our bodies are designed to a specific circadian rhythm and that we would go up against it if we stay up late in the night and food will only make things tougher on top of that.
Angie
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. And don’t worry about rambling. It’s what the app is built for lol. But yeah for me I just don’t do lunch rarely ever. I mostly like a breakfast and dinner kind of person.

Often I’ll just incorporate breakfast into lunch if I wake up late enough personally. Probably not the best way of going about it, but hey.

How does it affect your eating habits when you stay up all night or half of the night and wake up late in the morning? I usually miss my breakfast when I wake up late. so I’d have only lunch and dinner. I don’t like it when I don’t eat well, so I try to bring my sleep cycle back to normal, be a morning person for a few days, but gradually fall back into the same old routine
Angie
Yeah, who knows if maybe both are correct and away? I heard the same thing about how apparently if you stay up late, it’s a sign of intelligence because it means you’re more creative or something like that. But who knows! SMH.

I mean I guess someone has to do it, but yeah could never be me
Tracey D
Honestly I'm rather sick of human's studies that lead us nowhere! Some studies say successful people stay up at night; others say successful people wake up early! Try doing both, and we get sleepless night! 😂
James M
Yeah I’ve had a lot of trouble with that over the years whenever I’ve had to get up and do something, I remember high school being kind of awful for that, there was a time I routinely get like three hours a night. Could never do that now. as someone who has been awake since 3 am and not being able to get back to sleep, I feel like my lying here in bed is just a form of quiet protest to all those people who thrive at 4 am. 😂
Angie
Yeah I agree. It’s insane how society kind of gears us more toward day time. Although it’s interesting reading you guys’s responses, and it seems like a lot of us kind of have our own peak hours which is pretty cool. Yeah I have read about how the most successful people are people who start their day super early like four or 5 AM and I can’t even imagine that. I’ve tried for college classes and stuff, and although I got up and did what I had to do, nine times out of 10 I felt so sluggish. And it was so hard to convince myself at night time. Oh, I have to be in bed by this time so I can get up for class.
James M
Yeah it really is unfortunate how much of society relies you to be at least somewhat day oriented lol

Same! I can stay up all night, and do everything normally in the morning... and then... um... sleep between 6:00 to 9:00 PM? 🤣🤣🤣
