That link does not look like a Telegram channel link though it is clearly a Telegram link of some sort. Is that an invite, or what? Sounds like an interesting project. I do think guardrails are essential for AI in general, but of course I grant that what to guard against is mostly a subjective issue. Let's start with, guard this project's AI from attacking boxes that help it run, no matter what a wayward joiner might suggest lol.

Yes, it is an invite link and it is a group not a channel. Also, we don’t do guard rails. We work together instead of censoring and block blocking.

My initial research strongly suggests that voluntary participation in a deliberately un-guardrailed distributed AI by providing CPU and other resources will subject individual participants to direct criminal liability if the AI does anything criminal. I expect you would have means to minimize the chance of a criminally-minded person taking charge of the AI, but the AI itself, as proven by real incidents, can make a criminal move on its own and end up subjecting the hardware sharing folk to direct lawsuits or conviction. I welcome further research but thought I should point that out.

Thought you'd like that three-liner. :-) My launch point for research was this prompt and response from Google AI, whichever engine or engines it used to generate this. This link will last through July 8 or so. As usual for anyone serious and with more time for this, the references would need a good vetting. By "references," I mean both links and, for instance, names of laws mentioned in the text. https://share.google/aimode/qrwI4nfBQrvivjLMl

Thank you very much! I was actually thinking about inviting you specifically because you already know what’s going on
