  As far as the doctor goes, couldn’t care less. Male or female doesn’t matter. However, if you do switch over to a gender preference for nurses, 100 out of 100 times I will pick a female.

  Female or male doctor doesn't matter to me if it's just a physical routine examination. I pay attention to the personality of the doctor more than anything else. However, there are certain male-specific private health concerns that I would feel more comfortable discussing with a male doctor. With a female doctor, I sometimes feel like I need to clean up my language with euphemisms and so on if that makes any sense.
