It depends on how long you cook it. It lacks the filling of an apple pie. I didn't cook them long enough for them to mush up, but the apples aren't crunchy or anything anymore. They're soft, but the pieces still hold their shape. Just think cooked apple slices simmared in butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Does it kind of taste like apple pie? I don’t think I’ve ever had this. Is it mushy?
