What I don't understand is that only people from US are accepted to these researches. What's wrong with blind people from other countries?

Thank you for asking about that, scabbs! My apologies for the limited scope of our recruitment. I can’t speak to other research projects you’ve seen, but for us it’s not that there’s anything wrong with blind people from other countries, it’s just that research and compensation as researchers at a US-based institution is easier within the US since recruiting participants in other countries means that we would be beholden to many other sets of rules (for example, the EU-UK GDPR). That’s not to say that it’s extremely difficult, but given that this is for a semester-long class project, it felt like the best choice to limit recruitment to simplify these processes for us. In future projects, we will be mindful of trying to recruit a broader variety of individuals.

This is nice, but you should create an algorithm to help blind visually impaired individuals get jobs and not be judged for their appearance nor their visual capacity instead of for their brains while that’s just how the world works does that but I do hope you get the help you’re looking for you seem like a nice person, but they’re bigger issues to fry

Hey Emily, It's me, Snehashish, and I told you about this platform. Since I don't have any access to your survey, I just want to say that you can probably change both your name and username from "Profile" > "Update Profile." I did that about 3-4 months ago when its first beta launched on Android. Don't know if something is currently broken on iOS.
