I personally do not think you should get a notetaker and go with a Braille display. It’s far more portable and you are tied to updates on a universal smart phone such as an iPhone instead of a Braille notetaker which is very niche if that makes sense! I mean, they’re probably are or do exist updates regarding firmware on bro displays, but it’s nothing like a notetaker plus it’s cheaper to instead of paying $6000. You can pay like $1500! Just my opinion

At King triple whopper i'm not planning on getting another braille note taker, it definitely is not worth it especially because it usually tends to last only 5 to 6 years after which everything goes downhill. It's a very expensive device and not worth it. When this one crashes I'm going to look into getting a braille display.

Yeah I have a braille note touch plus as well, and it's super slow. I've only had it since 2024. I also have a NLS Humanware braille display and I love it.
