I’m so tired of this lax attitude towards mental health. It goes along with what you were saying about tough love. Neither lax attitudes towards mental health or this nonsensical tough love way of being helps anybody. It’s old. I’m so over all of it. Everybody loves to attack incredibly intelligent, smart, introspective, and empathetic people like you because you shine a light on their insecurities without ever having to talk to them directly, and I think that’s a far more beautiful and powerful gift than whatever brave face they’re trying to wear. So, even though I follow a few people on here, you’re the only one I actively turned notifications on for because I want to be notified of every single post that you do even if I can’t get to it right away. That’s how important you are to me. I don’t have notifications on for anybody else. You are special to me on here!

Meh. People just suck. You gotta start looking for similarities and not for differences. That will change your ability to make friends. It opens the door for all walks of lifes. But some of us aren’t meant for everybody and that is OK.
