If Agiga's Live AI demos are anything to go by EchoVision will be a real gamechanger. Since they at least have a team they can do more. The Seleste glasses tried for the Live AI thing. While not a bad concept, he was trying to do too much too fast, and it was only one guy handling the technical side of things.

The Ally Solos glasses don't sound like a bad concept, but they don't seem worth the cost. Especially when you factor in that after your first year you have to pay for Ally Pro. Why couldn't they give lifetime to those that pre-ordered? I got the regular Envision glasses from the state back in 2021, and because I got them when I did I qualified for Pro when I sent them a copy of my receipt. It will be interesting to see how the EchoVisions compare to the Ray-Ban Metas. Did you get into the pioneer program? I did and I've been checking my email several times a day since the 29th when they said they'd start shipping. If I don't hear anything by this Wednesday I'll be emailing them.

No, I won't be getting them. Ally is very pricy for what you get, and they aren't even including lifetime access like they did for Envision Glasses users back when those came out and the Envision AI app was a paid product. I will be trying out the EchoVision glasses soon. I chose to get the pioneer edition. I have the Metas, but I'm also interested to see how these end up working. They're reasonably priced by AT standards, and for those that pre-ordered lifetime subscription. I'm interested to see how Aira integration will work on these glasses. It works well on Meta, but the problem is that we're depending on Meta not to break things which they love to do as we all know.
