The reality is that in order to navigate the internet and social media, one does need to have some trust. Personally, I adhere to the hacker’s mentality which is, “Trust, but verify. Our boundaries need not be either closed nor open, but rather, permeable in that we audit our encounters so we can filter out the bullshit while letting positive energy in.
