First of all, arriving in independently or dependently should not influence the job so do whatever you want there. I actually would arrive with a family member or at least having them wait in the car while I go in or something like that due to my own transportation needs. I should also add, arrive about 15 minutes early. If you are early, you're on time if you're on time you're late.
