Never said I didn’t have another block. I just didn’t have one with me at that time. Was just wondering if there was an alternative reason that my phone would be charging so slow.
Jo Billard
I thought plugging your phone into your computer was always slow. Why not just get yourself another block that you can carry in your bag? They're not all that expensive. Another alternative is to use an external battery or power bank.

Yeah. The old cables are shit. Also, make sure it’s plugging in tight. That’s what she said.

I sure blame the motherboard on the laptop, I really do, try all the different ports if you haven't thought of that, because I know with this desktop I get way more juice out of the back 4 then I do the 2 on the front, it's a huge difference, heck the front ones won't even spin up a hard drive.

Yeah Micah I know what you mean about them good old apple cords freighing close to the end, I had a bunch of them do it and I'm not hard on stuff either what so ever, I switched to anker all the way now adays and have great luck! Yeah, I agree, make sure it's plugging in tight, if it doesn't catch hard then you might have some lint or dirt in there, take at it with the compressed air, can't hurt it any I wouldn't think.

Yeah I know what you mean, I got a desktop here that'll do the same thing if I plug like a phone or tablet in that has a big battery, it takes for ever if I use the front USB ports, it's the motherboard just doesn't put allow it or something or it might be the way the power supply is, I really don't know, but heck like if you're away from home a lot just get yourself like a 65 watt Anker travel charger, I got one here that has a USB C and a USB A port, that's all you'd need. it's small and really is mean, I've maxed it clear out before and it doesn't get that hot to the touch, maybe 110 degrees at the most.

It could be that the laptop output for USB charging not as strong as if you were to plug it into an outlet.

The charging cable that I have works perfectly fine when plugged into the outlet/wall. I am charging it on a Windows device, but I have the Apple app downloaded through the Microsoft store so I’m just not really sure what the deal is. I will try to clean my port area on my phone though that’s probably a good idea anyway thank you.
