I am immediately suspicious of a program designed to replace humans, especially for friendship. Computers are tools not replacement for human companionship. It all depends on what you want the computer to do. I used to feel less than for choosing to exist in a braille computing environment. I no longer feel that way. Two blind guys working at Ibm, reading punch tape like it was braille, is why there are braille displays. They wanted a machine that could move the tape electrnicly so they could work faster.

Yes! AI is not our friend unless it was made to be, and then we must think about who and why it was made that way. It is a tool. The BT Speak's code editor, BT Code1 has an AI, Cody, that I test as a beta tester who knows what he is doing in Python. I use it at work to describe screenshots which is a big help now - I use copilot there which is quite good at describing what I need to know from the pic.n't write code).
