I get your frustrations. I have sleep apnea too. It is no fun. My insurance will not pay for the implant. We’ve tried to fight it numerous times they say no flat out now. What’s the truth is I don’t really wanna have surgery either but at the same time I also don’t wanna have sleep yet either. Sounds like a a battle that my brain wants to do it’s like no sleep apnea no surgery no what we’re gonna do about that. It’s crazy and I can’t get comfortable with a mask either and I do wake up drooling in my mouth dry and feeling like absolute crap so. I get you believe me I do more than ever. I have sleep apnea because I have a deviated septum. And also have a very thick face and a thick neck because of my weight. And we didn’t notice I had sleep apnea until 2007 and I was filled with my first machine and I couldn’t breathe and I had nightmares a lot very vivid dreams that were very weird of my CPAP chasing me. So yeah it’s been a struggle with sleep apnea. I really hate it.
