OP, the fact that your awesome friends had you lead them on a hike and you were the only blind one, well that one is a huge one. It inspires me and I'm thinking of doing that in my own life. When I lead my nephew and niece around the neighborhood when everyone was gone was a proud moment for me. You having friends like that is awesome.

This is a good one! So recently me and my partner were together on vacation and they were determined to get me out of my comfort zone. We went hiking and they skipped up the mountain making a show of how much fun it could be. I was terrified and baffled, and at two points said I wanted to turn around. I knew though that I had made it that far and so finished it, ending at a cave behind a waterfall, and then the climb down. Something broke in me and I was more calm after that. Our dog getting tangled up barely flustered me. It's so important to get out of our comfort zone.
