That’s the problem. Vocalizer just feels very choppy to me. I don’t know, but I feel like the voice talents behind the vocalizer voices should take their voices over to Eleven Labs because honestly, vocalizer just sounds scratchy now.

Speaking of which, remember how terrible Uberduck sounded with its very poor trained phonetic letter to sound rules? Yeah. This is why I still go for Eleven Labs. Plus, it’s the most secure voice cloning platform and you don’t have to worry about unauthorized clones being uploaded to the voice library.

Personally, I don’t think I’m gonna do a personal voice. Eleven Labs just sounds way better. Apple really should collaborate with them.

Fun fact, Eloquence is based on a combination of the two models of a Klatt formant synthesizer. It uses a combination of a cascade and parallel vocal tract.

Eloquence all the way! I’ve been using that thing for 20 years. It’s very flexible, and it’s the only synthesizer I find to accurately emphasize punctuation correctly. And it’s super easy to customize it to your needs, and even creating dictionaries is super simple. Plus, it has fairly good multilingual support for what it is. I actually use it in four languages, English, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese.
