Oh yeah, I remember this song. My parents took me to Disney World as a teenager and part of our experience was obviously listening to the new hits of that time, it’s funny how those radio, listening sessions and soundtrack stick with you even in Disney World wish

Anyway, I hope I’m not spamming the comments, but there is another song called once upon a Time by Barney and I have to tell you guys about it because I was going through Barney songs for kids research and I was just like oh my goodness I mean, I don’t mind Barney really but it was like the 50th song that sounded all the same like brush my teeth and all of that and then all of a sudden once upon a Time just comes on and absolutely hits me in the fields. It’s like it’s got everything it’s called the perfect musical structure. It’s called amazing melodies. It has a keychain. It’s like intelligently written not just Mary had a little lamb and I discovered it right at the beginning of Covid which by the way COVID-19 was a very, very personal journey for me in my life and my soul. So this song brought me back to preschool during pure more innocent times when we would have Freezy popsicles and year-end parties and fun times and beautiful summer nights playing Simon says and what time is it, Mr. Wolf and making mud pies and not having a care in the world and that is how you know, the kid song is so well written. Check it out once upon a Time by Barney. yeah it’s Barney. Yeah it’s baby Bob whatever but the music is so so good and I want to learn to play it.

Seeking comfort from music is a very human thing. I second that. Melissa, I hope you find comfort and peace.

But anyway, seriously, I can’t sing it right now, but Charlotte Diamond wrote this song called. Once upon a Time there was a boy called Jack, he met a mighty giant, who was looking for a snack. And to this day, I cannot find that kid song, but I would listen to kids songs well into middle school in high school just to pass the time because I love them so much And hadn’t outgrown them yet and I mean, that song reminded me of cookies in grade school and coming home and having milk and cookies and I have these Belgium chocolate cookies in my house right now and they would go so good with milk and with that song. And songs like finally I found this song, the song by Kid Rock that says, I watch my youngest son. I think it’s called only God knows why and I had to get help from it finding it on for rail from someone else and stuff because the last time I really heard it I had had a friend who had just tragically passed away and all I remember after that was at the end of the year we would sit in the classroom with all my classmates and the teacher would bring this radio in and we would be doing our homework and we would be listening to all the pop hits of the day and it was just magical for me.

Oh, there are so many. And oh yeah I hear the chorus now. This was like part of those middle school days of mine actually they weren’t that bad but middle school going to high school was great, in the summertime. I had a teacher aid that did things like took me out to ice cream or we would just sit near the picnic tables like it was a beach And we would just shoot the breeze and not have a care in the world and there was no math or homework or anything for a few hours and it was just really nice and it was like coming of age and everything such personal memory I couldn’t possibly put into comments or messages right here unless you wanted those double spaced essays Rob was talking about or something lol
