In my personal opinion, it's really important to be honest. You should clarify to the person you're dating that even though you're visually impaired, you're still able to be independent when it comes to your personal life. This means you don't need assistance so much, as long as you can. And of course, you can also tell them how technology will be more useful to you, and you can demonstrate how you use it so that they can clearly understand you. In that way, they can understand you that even though you're having visual impairment, you still have abilities to do something good for yourself.
