It's not bad because currently that's how the app functions, but I do wish we could be given the ability to approve or deny followers. There are other social media platforms that allow this and I would like this to be one of them. You're fine though. If someone has an issue with you following them, they can just block you.

No lol. You don't need permission to follow someone. I have a lot of people follow me without my permission. Who cares? That's the whole point of the app. Don't over think it.
