I understand where you’re coming from Doug. And I really do wish that people were living up to the true meaning of what it means to be a Christian. But the definition is really elusive. We can say that it means following Christ, but what exactly does that mean when you break it down in the Christian religion? There are so many disparities and different beliefs when it comes to this religion that it’s impossible to really define the truth of it. This is why you must seek a personal relationship with God. He is the truth and only through the truth of Jesus Christ. Can you really know for sure what is real and what is not. The word and the spirit agree in one and anybody who lives in God and gives their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ will agree with the word and the spirit as one so everything if you’re really a true Christian, then everything that you learn about God should be exactly what everyone else believes and thanks and feels and does. If you’re following the true word of God, which is laid out for you in the Bible, you know exactly what you should do as a child of God who calls himself a Christian. But that’s not what being done. And too many people that call themselves Christians except things that God finds abominable. Is that being a good Christian? So I’ll say it again. Forget about the Christian religion that’s all it is is a religion and nobody cares about your religion when it comes to your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

OK, we’re not about to debate in here like a whole bunch of children lol but the only thing I’ll say about this is that following God means spending quality time with him. You can get baptized and get dunked underwater but that doesn’t really save you but you know what does getting saved in the heart getting baptized in the heart following God in every circumstance learn what is and isn’t OK in God‘s eyes and follow by that even when it’s hard being a Christian is not perfect, but it’s worth it.
