No, but we had a Juliet that would play the ET theme.

If any of you guys ever had a chance to use a scholar, did any of you run into this weird bug where if you were in the middle of embossing something the damn thing would change revision dates and restart thinking it was the 2000? I can't tell you how many times it would happen to me, and the only way to revert it back was to restart it. The scholar I used had a revision date of dec27 98, most of them did I believe, although I think my school had one that had a date sometime in 2004, think that was the first version that used doubletalk. If it ever acted like it was the 2000, you would issue commands and it would just act all weird and glitchy. The first time it ever happened to me I freaked out, I remember thinking to myself what the hell has this thing done? Is this thing possessed? Needless to say, every time I embossed something I had to always be on alert because you never knew when it would do it, it was at the most random times.

It sounded a lot like the Text Talker for the Apple2, but I wasn't into tech like I am now and didn't keep track.

unfortunately that wouldn't be possible since that is a hardware synth. I should have said this earlier but I forgot, after 2000, the bns upgraded it to doubletalk, which I actually liked. The bns2000 I liked as well but it was probably one of the most buggiest units they ever made, it was well known for crashing out of nowhere to the point where I think you would have to send it back in to Blazey Engineering. The hole filesystem would corrupt itself and no kind of reset would fix it. I used the 640 and the APH scholar but never had the chance to really use a 2000, although my school Had a couple of them. I used to set them up before people could use them, check status menu settings and Serial numbers. I was one of the most advanced users of those things, you really wouldn't be able to do much of anything with them anymore, you'd be lucky if you could even find any of them floating around that are in good condition.
