I attended the now defunct Blind Inc many years ago. And while I did learn some things here and there, the overall experience does not bare repeating.

Hey there, I also attended an Nfb center and found the experience life changing! Of course, everything wasn't perfect, but the training was so crucial in my own confidence as a blind person. It definitely put me out of my comfort zone a lot but I am so greatful for it! Travel was always a harder class for me because I have a lot of travel anxiety, but now I struggle less with it. I wish I had done training before I went to college, but then, I don't know if I would have taken it as seriously as I did going as a 20 something rather than an 18 year old. Now I don't think this training is for everyone, but it definitely worked for me.

I attended a state center in Virginia with strong NFB values, but you already know this. There's a lot of strongly opinionated vibes but I've learned to keep my head down and learn what you can.

I attended Co Center. I think for me, in the realtime of the events it was very overwelming, but looking back, I learned a lot. I am thankful for the skills I ganed their.
