Great points Doug, and I agree with you that neuroplasticity definitely plays a role and we can get used to things quicker than we might expect, at the same time I wonder if a relationship mediated through VoiceOver would work, if you never heard someone’s voice and you just chatted to them via message and then one day you decided to meet up and you heard them for the first time, would you be able to connect the person you were speaking to online with the voice that you now here off-line?
