My understanding about brightness is that it’s mostly for seeing a screen clearly and saving battery life, but it doesn't have the direct power to change how a voice sounds or the actual color of written letters. It primarily helps with seeing in the sun or keeping the light from being uncomfortable in the dark. The way people respond to different light levels is what naturally changes both the tuning of a voice and the appearance of text. For example, if a screen is too bright and causes squinting, a person might sound tense or rush through speaking just to be done with the task. At that same high brightness level, the letters on the screen can look washed out or faded because of the intense light hitting the eyes. On the other hand, in a dim room with low brightness, people often speak more slowly or softly, and those same letters might appear much darker or lose their detail. Ultimately, the brightness doesn't directly adjust these things, but how people react to higher or lower light is what changes the way they speak and how their eyes perceive the colors of the text.
