ABSOLUTELY, and I HAVE heard the cover that was played a lot on the disco station that we had here in NEW YORK CITY (92.3-WKTU), and 1980 is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT of when the re-make was out, and I, PERSONALLY, prefer the original, MYSELF, though it DEFINITELY sounded clear from your end, however.

YES--THIS is the original version that was out during the summer of 1967 by RUBY ANDREWS (I wonder if she's still alive, how old she is, and what day/month/date/year she was born). Do you know what year within the '80's that the disco version was released and which artist/group did it?

I recognise the song, but not this recording of it. Is this an older recording? The version I know is the disco record from the 1980s.
