I agree with you Jasmine. I know exactly those posts you're talking about. I've seen them myself. I'm also like you, if I post something on Facebook, I don't care how many people react and comment on it. If I get a lot, then I get a lot. If I don't, then I don't. But I think a lot of people on Facebook like to just post everything about their lives. Literally, everything. Oh, I'm having this for lunch today. Oh, I just got out of the shower. It was nice. Oh, I just hurt myself, I'm on the way to the hospital right now. Like nobody needs to know your whole life. But I'm friends with quite a few people who do that and I'm just like, okay. Sounds like you just want attention. But yeah, I agree with you.

I think those kinds of posts reflect desperation! This is another reason I’m not on social media very often. People seem very lonely and disconnected and they’ll do anything to get someone to say something to them. I guess I am more comfortable with spending a lot of time by myself. That might be unhealthy in its own way, but it doesn’t have me screaming out on social media for someone to pretty. Please talk to me!
